Holyport’s village fair is one of the big highlights of the year, featuring the fiercely contested tug-of-war between the village pubs, dog shows, live music, a beer race, a funfair and a huge range of other events, stalls and food and drink stands.
Last year’s Fair – which would have been the 74th – sadly had to be cancelled due to Covid-19. It was our intention to have the Fair back this year in its usual slot in June but as restrictions will not be lifted by then, it has been decided to push it to September 11th 2021.
This is a major fundraising event for the village hall. Local clubs and organisations can also benefit through a profit-share agreement.
Your Fair needs you!
The Fair is run by Holyport Community Trust‘s Fair sub-committee, and simply cannot happen without the help of local volunteers doing everything from serving cups of tea to dismantling stalls at the end of the day. So please come and join us!
